About StoneCore
Meet StoneCore Education — Edinburgh tutors teaching chart pattern reading and scenario-building for traders across Great Britain.
Why we opened the studio
StoneCore Education began when a handful of Edinburgh traders grew tired of evening webinars that named patterns without forcing a written invalidation. We rented a quiet room off Placeholder Street, printed charts, and ran the first Chart Pattern Studio with eight seats.
What we teach
Our subject is technical analysis as a reading craft: swing structure, classic patterns, failed moves, and the habit of writing scenarios before size is chosen. We do not sell signals, copy-trading desks, or software subscriptions.
Who teaches
Tutors combine years of personal market study with classroom experience. Credentials we claim are practical: completed cohort hours, annotated workbooks on file, and references from past attendees — not university degrees in finance unless an individual tutor holds one.
How we work with you
Classes stay small. Homework is annotation, not quizzes. We correct soft language on scenario cards until the condition is observable on a chart. If a pattern is ambiguous, we mark it as such rather than force a label.
Values that show up in the room
- Prefer a discarded pattern over a forced trade idea
- Write the kill level before the entry wish
- Respect delayed charts and never pretend the room is a dealing floor
- Keep UK market hours and holiday calendars in mind when setting cohort dates
Community
Many attendees return for Scenario Lab after Studio, or book a private session when a specific FTSE or FX chart will not settle. We host a low-volume alumni mailing for new cohort dates — no daily commentary.
